Originally this was a warm-up while i was reading some manga...It's jst basic tones added to an 'unleveled' pic... so this is a raw scan w/ tones...
now that this is outta the way.. i can go and read some more manga.. ohyeh.. draw too..
btw this is Beyond the Grave from Gungrave

Wonderful perspective use, and the coloring is just killer. I've tended to make my lines that way as well, oddly enough, gives the piccy more 'motion' in my opinion.

That orange line around the right gun is a let-down. Is his gun meant to be glowing?

well no, but w/o it, the gun blends too much w/ the coat. it's there for it's reasons

I don't think it will, the gun's form is well-depicted and its thicker lines should suffice in distinguishing it from his clothes.
It's probably alright if you just view it in a medium size (when it's less visible), but when I view it in full size, it really sorta distracts me from the rest of the pic.
