hey um, i referenced this... i know you're probably busy, but IF you happen to have a second I'd really appreciate you taking a look and telling me ANYTHING at all helpful... i feel like i had a hard time figuring out what you did exactly during the coloring, especially the hair... well thanks either way this is a very helpful post

i have to ask since i've seen this used elswhere: is the blue-line sketching a technique that was taught to you in an art class that has some benefits over black or gray or is it just personal preference?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

theCHAMBA In reply to JohnKillinger [2010-09-27 11:20:13 +0000 UTC]

blue line is jst the digital thing i like to use (it looks nicer than gray for me in this department) otherwise it has no other real purpose for me.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JohnKillinger In reply to theCHAMBA [2010-09-27 19:07:32 +0000 UTC]

i see what you mean. its easier on the eyes and easy to tell apart from the final lines. cool, thanks ^^

These solid blacks has a lot of impact! Is it a definitive style choice or just an exercise?
