Loved this movie as it's one of my favorite animated movies and fantasy films for 18 years since i was 15 when i heard about it in magazines and raves on the net, i bought this on VHS and dug it. I have it on blu-ray and 10th anniversary DVD, one of my faves.

I mean, we 're talking about the best example of the ultraviolent 90s OVAs, with lots of blood and nudity, but with a surpringsily really well-written screenplay and more depth characters that you'd expect. It alo has a lot of influence in shows like Samurai Champloo or Rurouni Kenshin. But unfortunetly, the most of the anime fandom those days doesn't watch anything "older" than Evangelion or Cowboy Bebop. Don't ge me wrong, i love both, but there's a lot of more awesome old anime stuff to watch.
