SO yes..few weeks back i was asked to draw up a cover for sinbad #2 for ~BLUEWATERPROD UCTIONS/Ray Harryhausen presents, WHICH i'm currently workin on.
so anyway, for a few weeks now i've been on a "Mike Mignola" vibe and i needed to getit out've my system
so why not w/ the cover to Sinbad #2.
so yep.. here's my Homage to Mignola, while also being a possible cover to Sinbad #2.

It does look the shading and coloring style of Mike Mignola's work. Very nice job. I like the composition alot.

It's really nice. I have one minor suggestion. I think the coloring needs to have a little more range from light to dark. If you flipped it to b&w you may see that it looks a little too evenly gray.
Granted Mignola does that sometimes, but he often has the big red Hellboy to make the image pop. Since you have no big red, I'd suggest more gradated tones.
Keep the blacks just like they are.

never looked at it that way..
i was mainly lookin at cover w/ lobster johnson etc
and yeh.. the colours weren't as 'in your face' as the ones w/ HB
so i went that route

while I'm not sure it fits the enterior (not having read it), that's an extremely tight homage to the man. ^___^ great work with the layout and colors!

i think when it's released it should be available for order anywhere there's a comic shop
i kno it will be in the previews magazine for comic book listings.. so when it's out i would assume it would be available for order.

Great composition, flawless excecution of style and line balance. Also, the unity of the colors used is pretty damn tight.

(I also thought it was incredibly hilaroius how you mixed up the i and the / in your coding, so that it showed up as , and left the rest of the message in italics.)
