Mistake (That’s what he calls himself, his parents didn’t name him)

Parents:
NightWing mother named Orion, NightWing father named Fornax (both named after constellations)
Abilities:
No fire (literally can’t breathe fire or talk lol), other than that normal NightWing abilities
Personality:
Insecure and anxious with most things, keeps to himself. He puts up with the looks he gets, but he wishes he could call them whatever they call him. Silent because he can’t speak :< and he’s kinda suicidal :’<
Traits:
Has fear of stars (Siderophobia), despite him being a NightWing. Writes whatever he wants to say and carries around a small notebook for doing so.
Items/Pets:
Notebook for writing what he wants to say. Has band on front left leg, given to him by his sister, Lunar.
History:
Dragonet (Hatchling to three months old):
Note: at this time he didn’t get a name.
Hatched in the NightWing part of the RainWing jungle on a stormy day. His parents were eager to see what he would look like, but got furious when they saw what he was. Mistake’s brother and sister, Solar and Lunar, (Their parents weren't very creative!) had an argument with Fornax about what they should do with him. Fornax and Orion, ignoring their two normal dragonets, took Mistake outside and left him there. He survived on fruits, insects and anything he could catch, slowly making his way through the forest. Any dragons that saw him ran or made fun of him, calling him names like abomination, freak and monster, but Mistake walked off whenever this happened. Once, however, a RainWing had called him ‘mistake’ and from then on he was called that, some dragons not using it to be rude, because it is his actual name.
Child (About four months to a year old):
He continued living in the rainforest, obliviously going out of the Rainforest Kingdom and going into the Mud Kingdom. The MudWings had the same reaction as the other NightWings and RainWings had, running or bullying Mistake. He grew more and more annoyed about this, and struck out at a young female MudWing suddenly, slashing his claws across the dragon’s face, tearing out an eye. The MudWing retreated, screaming, leaving a trail of blood-coloured mud in her wake. Mistake stumbled to a cypress tree and fell asleep under it. The female MudWing’s family had prepared a lit torch to burn Mistake, going over to the sleeping dragon and making the fire burn one of his eyes for revenge. Mistake woke up as soon as he felt the searing heat, and ripped the torch out of the mud dragon’s claws and threw it at them. The MudWing family had done their damage, for Mistake’s eye never healed. He backed away from the burning dragons and ran as fast as he could out of the Mud Kingdom, deformed fifth leg trailing behind him. He collapsed near Diamond Spray Delta, left to die. He drank and ate fish whenever he needed it, but even this ceased after a few years.
Almost adult (five years old):
Mistake, almost dead from dehydration and starvation, was laying half submerged in the water without the energy to drink or catch fish. A lone male SkyWing spotted the deformed NightWing and flew over to investigate. The sky dragon shook Mistake, catching a fish and sitting it in front of him. Mistake’s eye opened, spotted the fish and ate it as neatly as he could, which was still messily. The SkyWing caught a few more fish to give to him, and weaved a bowl from the reeds and filled it with the water from the Diamond Spray Delta, and flew off to his friends, which were waiting on a mountain nearby. Mistake got stronger and stronger each day, hunting the fish in the Delta, and got the strength to leave and find the SkyWing that helped him. Locating the dragon, he found a nice cave below the mountain the SkyWing lived in and made his home there.
