a bowl i did in ceramics class. for my birthday 2 years ago my parents got me a chinese brush painting set (which i feel guilty about not having used it yet T_T ) and i took the book to class as a reference for the pictures (top to bottom: mountain tree, temple, wisteria, carp, bamboo).

take ceramics in college. it's probably one of the best choices i made
and if you're interested, the set i got is called Chinese Brush Painting Studio by Walter Foster, and it comes with paint, brushes, stamps, ink, book, and 2 kinds of paper to paint on.

aww thanks
the bamboo was a last minute decision, actually. i think bamboo looks so cool in the chinese/japanese style, so i wanted to incorporate it somehow while not being too in yo face about it.

thanks ^^ that was the first one i did, and probably one of the hardest. it sucks when you're looking at a watercolor technique book while trying not to treat fast-drying glaze like watercolor XD
