So younger, when their health was ensured and they were big enough to not drown in the shallow end, Tiska took her first trip to visit the Tarn. The second time through, Adal's fascination with the mystical place dimmed from awestruck to insatiably curious and with Tiska's matron guardian keeping a close eye on the excited cub, he had a chance to really inspect the many coins. For Qitaq, even with all the trouble the cubs were getting themselves into, remained patient; a twap of the tail to stop the boy from shaming himself before the gods and a swift lunge to keep her ward from falling into the deep end of the pool and the situation was under control.
