Doesn't this kinda go against what actually happens in the game? Frisk's bad behavior is directly implied to be influenced by the Player and/or Chara, their real self is quite charming. Furthermore, why doesn't Toriel recognize Chara?

This is the Genocide Route but to be looked at as from a real world scenario rather than a game environment. Being a supporter of the theory that Chara has nothing to do with the initiation of the genocide, my version of Frisk represents the genocidal side in people who play the route, whereas Chara represents that voice any who play the route have that keeps telling them "this is wrong". And it's not that Toriel doesn't recognise Chara, she just doesn't see them, as Frisk points out -"neither goat lady or satan flower could even see you".

I see. Though in all honesty, going the genocide route for a story in either a comic or fanfiction is...well...really a bad idea. Because it's so grueling, and cruel, so morose and dark and really beating you over the head with its intense bitterness. The genocide route is pain and anguish, and revels in it.
Yet even then, it isn't like the monsters are sympathetic that much either. Even in the pacifist route, every single monster tries to hurt you or kill you. EVERY single one. Even Paps knocks you out and tosses your unconscious body into a dog shed. So it's hard to route for anyone when nobody owns up to their own bad actions.
