I know I am late, but I have a suggestion.
I think you should try not using white highlights. I've seen an over abundance of your art, and all of it has this highlight that is just a white blob. It's really hard on the eye and makes it just look like you didn't really want to try. If you try making it not white, and you think t looks bad, then stick with this, But I think you should try it.

For the hair that’s not Lloyd, you could use a light brown. The idea is to use a lighter version of the color, unless it’s metal or there is a different color of light like fire, in which case you would use orange or yellow.
