WavesEsen. was so tired. That issue with chaos was just enough for one day. Though she had to actually take the chance to take out the next gym leader as that was her next assigned mission. As stated by a message she got that morning from vitomir.She shot tashi a quick text. ‘Hey I’m finally heading out to dewford.. Do you need to head out there for any reason?’Couple minutes of waiting before‘I can’t have a mission out in 106. I’ll get back to you alright’She sighed. Well that was unfortunate. So she was alone out here this time. … She thought back to the dragonair.. They were gonna try to snipe this target as well. She released her pokemon out. Her full team of 6 + mikaelOnly to be tackled down quickly by Zona and boritsu. She grinned at them petting the two mons.“Alright team . Today your gonna meet another one of my Aqua team Yeah? As he's going to be helping us get over to dewford.” She released on of her Aqua specific balls.It was a steel type lapras. Which she was holding onto. His name was Oswald and he was mainly used for transport. He had an Aqua marker on his shell.The pokemon looked around curiously at the new mon. Zona would just yawn nestling herself in Esen as she had already seen the lapras. With mikael. The now luxio/buizel would sit nearby.Alex and hira would both come in close not having met many pokemon from her other team. Or many pokemon from team aqua in general considering they were purely for her missions.Oswald looked at them grumpily “Why don’t you have a warp over to the island anyway? The warp zone goes to so many regions and not one island in the home region? I know they mostly use me for getting to the labs to keep it secret but COME ON.”Esen rolled her eyes at the lapras . “Pretty sure it defeats the purpose if people start noticing people who clearly didn't arrive on a boat to the island. Or helicopter or anything else. I’m acting as a trainer so”She shuffled through her pockets before flashing her fake trainer ID. which was also surf certified.’“Though I also don’t have any flying pokemon. Including pokemon form being out of commission… As much as i'd like to fly there and pretend I was my own pokemon.” she groaned. She longed to fly again but it would be a long time seeing as the next full moon was weeks away and she was unable to transform outside of it.Oswald: “Fair enough. I don't really have a choice in this either so let's head out then”_____________________________________________________________________Esen would ride Oswald with Zona sitting next to her mostly for comfort. Zona loves the ocean about as much as she did. Probably because of her hybrid. She sighed looking at them everyday she was growing.Though she was cuddling closely with Mikael. As he would insist on staying with them on the lapras.“So how far away is the island anyway?” Zona would cheerfully chip up. Esen would tilt her head. Thinking. “Well the aqua base is on the other side of the region but we left from a ventus exit. Close to petalburg. Though a lapras is not as fast as a Boat so I'd say maybe several hours. Though hey there's probably some pokemon trainers out here. Doing some training against pokemon you're a good swimmer right. So is pretty much most of the team. Besides, it's not like we have anything better to do.“Yea!” Zona dove into the water excited the splash causing a grumble from Oswald . Esen honestly wanted to jump in the water as well. Though as much as she had an affinity for it. She wasn’t really a strong enough swimmer to stay in the water… maybe a bit later.She looked into the water though looking at the many pokemon that hung around the relatively shallow waters. It wasn’t shallow enough that you could stand on it but it wasn’t necessarily considered open ocean. She moves over to the edge of oswald’s shell.before releasing the rest of her pokemon. Good news her pokemon that weren’t strong swimmers were fliers like Hira, alex and arushi pretty much lightening the load on oswald overall. “Alright everyone let's get some training done out here while we can. Perhaps even get another target while we are at it… she then thought about euthalia again…. “But that isn’t our main goal. Our main goal is to strengthen you guys up so we can capture brawly. Mikael I would like you to try to help out with the training with your electric moves. You too boritsu. Yall need to help Alex and arushi train for the gym.Mikael would let out a sigh. “Fine.” Diving into the water after her mate and the others. His tube helping him float on the surface more easily.There seemed to be several trainers out and about. So she directed Oswald over to one of the swimmer’s. As the pokemon went after the various pokemon in the water. She honestly even saw some wailmer out and about in the waters.There were also other trainers who were riding gyarados . Though she would tend to stay away from them. As she wasn’t sure how well her pokemon could handle the threatening water snakes.Though most of the battles were easy, a handful of tentacool here a handful of magikarp there. Lot’s of wingull and pelipper that were flying around. They made her wish she could fly more though. Eventually boritsu got tired out. He did the soonest coming back up onto Oswald as it started to get darker. “Are we almost done yet?” he panted “I’m hungry, are we gonna get some food?”Most of the other pokemon were still out but… they were for the most part water types and well adapted for it. Dewford was still a bit of a ways off though . Though it made her think about the flying tribe. Just a bit. Her mom would always hunt some bigger game out for them“I’ve got some berries with me. Though if you guys could kill something we could even get some meat. … I’m pretty sure Zona has already hunted a magikarp down or something she looks pretty pleased with herself.” she chuckled. That was pretty good. Dad would talk about how Kyogre would have such a great appetite whenever it awoke in myths. And when it had awoken a decade ago.She reached into her bag though bringing out some various berries she had taken along with her for the trip. Handing a handful over to boritsu. Soon enough the other pokemon had come over to join them. He was one of the team ventus admins. ‘Hey esen so we were talking about going to this festival in another region. Know you and Tashi are busy but. Time shouldn’t be that much of an issue. Cause of you know. But it might be nice to have some fun with the sisters. They should get to enjoy something at least.”Though She responded ‘Sorry I was kinda surfing or a bit there but uh… Maybe? Esen had about half the mind to go into the cave. Esen had heard there was interesting history behind Granite cave. Especially lore about the old gods. Before they were captured. This whole giant mural.So once they hit the sands up to the north of the island she returned most of her pokemon except for zona. Making her way over to the cave.It was a pretty short cave though dealing with the various pokemon that lived there was almost always an issue. But Zona was able to handle it on her own. While she had half the mind to have arushi out for this since she was going to handle brawly for the most part and the training would be helpful. Well the steel types in this cave would probably be too much for the fairy type.As she went down the steps she wound up spotting another person. An older folk. Looking to be around her adoptive fathers age maybe a bit younger. “Hmmm… even after all these years there are several mysteries about this that haven't been uncovered. The mystery of primal reversion but… These depictions of yveltal and xerneas. What involvement do they have in all of this?”He turned around. Spotting esen who was on the steps.“Hm? Are you also here to see the mural?” Esen hesitated as Zona would defensively move in front of her. Though she had clearly forgotten to put up an illusion more focused on defending her trainer.Esen would respond though. “Uh yeah. I've always had a bit of fondness for Hoenn's history with our guardian deities and all that.” she had quickly realized who she was talking to though. It was the former champion of hoenn. Aren't they fairly rare despite this region being their origin?”Esen nodded slightly. Quickly trying to think of something safe to say “My father works for ventus corps. I was given this pokemon as a gift a few years back.” she said petting zona behind the ears slightly.To which she slightly relaxed. Leaning into esen’s hand.“Mhm. Quite a few people work for them in hoenn. May I ask what you think when you see these murals?” Steven would ask, dropping the topic . Though esen didn’t trust that too much.Esen would look at them herself. He had been talking about the yveltal and xerneas when she walked in which she agreed was odd. “The hoenn guardians are considered to be the oldest right besides arceus? With the oddity there is only one set of them.Unlike most of the others. Maybe Arceus created the other two shortly after. Or perhaps they are closely tied in some way. But I wouldn’t know I haven't really learned much about them. … Well I have yveltal my family has a deep respect for that mon. but I don't necessarily see why they would be here.”She said that last bit a bit sheepishly. Steven would sigh. “Guess I shouldn’t have expected too much from a youngster. Hope you enjoy your time here” as he started walking awayAnd esen collapsed on the floor once he was finally out of the way. “Blehhhh. I can't really handle a trainer like that right now. I know vitomir would’ve enjoyed the capture of someone that strong it would give him such an edge but his pokemon… We are definitely not ready to face him. Or any of the elite four or champion level trainers in this region. Sure you guys are growing really fast but. Still.”Sighing, she pulled out a pokeball. This one was for arushi and another one for hira.Releasing the pokemon they needed to come up with a game plan. “Alright so both of you are going to be key to getting to brawly and his gym trainers alright?. With Hira and her webbing moves we should be able to incapacitate them. Then both of you will be able to clean up any of their pokemon pretty quickly . since Hira is basically unable to take damage from the fighting type moves and you have very strong fairy type moves. Though we need to be careful he will probably have some of his aces like roxanne.Arushi spun around a bit , looking a bit confident. She had grown bigger since esen first caught her though wasn't yet at the true floette stage of her growth. Almost there though“Heh fighting types gonna be easy with my draining kiss and fairy wind there's no way I’m gonna lose..” that kinda confident vibe esen was happy to have on the team.Meanwhile hira would be flying around picking up a whirlwind. The flying type dustox was ready to get going .Esen looked… “Maybe you should use tailwind to help us speed up even more. Zona is gonna disguise you briefly but the illusion will quickly be broken so being able to speed up all of us will also help us with our task.Hira would land on a rock nearby . “I can definitely do that. I think. “ they then hesitated when thinking a bit harder . “Though what if they have elemental punches?I’m not really the best for dealing with it.”“I think you can handle it, you are too speedy to just trust me . Zona had bought them time by having them basically invisible when they got into town. But it seemed Steven may have alerted the gym to the presence of an aqua member and their zoroark.Not that that would help them against Zona's illusions; they'd have to hit them first. So hira would be able to use tailwind without a hitch though. Allowing them to run through the gym just a bit faster than they would be able to typically. Though there was also so much equipment. Though hira would be able to dispatch some of the gym trainers quickly with electro webs and that was not the main issueThe back of the gym brawly was awaiting them with several large pokemon. Esen could see a hariyama, hakumo-o and a machamp. All pokemon that looked pretty threatening. The pokemon would immediately attack when Hira shot out a electro web breaking the illusion“So you are the one who took out roxanne. She disappeared not long ago didn’t she. Or at least someone else in your team did.. Don’t think I'm going to be that easy. Aqua grunt… Hariyama use fake out. On the zoroark hakumo-o headbutt. Machamp fire punch.Immediately going for the kill. She would mentally via her link with her pokemon tell arushi to get rid of the hakamo-o it didn’t stand a chance with the heavy weakness. A draining kiss would take it out but the other two were more of an issue.Hira was left dodging and weaving them and trying to get pot shots out at them. With air cutters and using more webbing to try and tie the pokemon down. It was working slowly but surely but clearly she was taking wear. This made esen nervous Though brawly was already basically pinned. With the several string shots shot his way.She had to do something. Maybe just maybe she could fight herself. Sure she couldn't actually win alone not without her pokemon form but maybe… here werespikes glowedShe had plenty of juice, maybe she could just.Copying hira’s movements with the air cutter she shot out several using her werespikes. And it was much stronger than anything her pokemon probably could produce considering the boost. She even surprised herself.“Zona get him. Use this” she handed the transformation scarf to the zoroark “I’ll help them finish them off alright. They are strong but not strong enough. Can’t beat hybrids with regular pokemon you know. Galar learned that the hard way didn’t they.” she grinned“What even are you… you're not human you used a move.”“Eh I’m not a pokemon either” she chuckledThough as he was distracted Zona had snuck up behind him. Soon there was a lowly poochyena in his place rather than the gym leader. Nuzzling up to the older zoroark hybrid.“Honestly it's nice to see them together for now . So what about Tashi?” She hated using that name. “Is she already there?”Kyto would grin a little “Yeaaa anyway said region. Is… well not here in this world. But Dad wanted to go and research other worldly pokemon or something.. In order to be able to populate them here maybe or give them to gym leaders. We do have a few ultra beasts up in the base so it's not too surprising.”Esen excitedly would then tilt her head “So how are we getting there then?”Kyto would hold up a ball with the team ventus insignia. “Well he let us borrow a solgaleo in order to do it. Get outta here and all. Heard shar wanted to get a solnala from the region too at some point. Maybe we can look into it?”Essen thinking about this for a second “Oh right me and tashi were gonna watch one of shar’s contests eventually… hm alright yeah might as well.”Releasing the ball they would head out-_________________________________________________________________________Tashi was there at the port to greet them. “OH ESEN. How’d the mission go? Did you get the target.” she had immediately gone in for the hug greeting her girlfriendAfter the embrace esen would respond though a bit hesitant “uh. YEah. yeah i did . It went down without a hitch. Arushi is actually getting pretty strong and was a big help. Though hira also helped a bit considering his fighting types can't really hit her very well. He will make for a good mon for ventus in the future at least I hope. “Kyto would give her a bit of a suspicious glance. Esen… gave a nervous glance down as she rubbed her hands against her tiny werespikes.Tashi would notice the nervousness . “Oh yeah esen do you wanna see how sune is doing?” tossing up the ball. Which would reveal the zorlusion/groudon hybrid.Though something seemed a little off about her but esen couldn’t quite put her finger on what. Something about the hues. Which were still shiny of course. But just generally the grays were off more than normal. Though she would not ask about it. Rather not press tashi on it. They were here to have fun.Esen cheerfully looked around “So what kinda things do you think they’ll have at this festival anyway. I hope there's some great food.
