I drooped everything I was doing just so I could draw Tom with his tail when it was revealed canon. It has been slightly hinted through the official art but it's nice finally seeing it animated. So from now on I'm always gonna draw Tom, with his tail, yeah! Don't hide such an adorable feature, it's a blessing.Β---

I like Jackie x Marco and still do even after their break up. The thing is, I still see the potential in this ship of yet undiscovered territory. There are still stories you can have with this couple.Β Marco had such a long time crush on Jackie and seeing him finally getting the chance to date her, was so endearing. Like, ''good for you man! I'm proud of this boy!''Β
So I'm a little bit peeved seeing it, end the way it did, it could have been so much more, such wasted potential.Β

Definitely a lot of wasted potential for Jackie and Marco. Especially when you look at how Marco has regressed as a character this season compared to Tom who has had major growth. He didnt even have a legitimate excuse for leaving earth. He has dimensional scissors so he can visit Star any time without having to live with her.

The way they handle Star and Marco's relationship is very off putting. It was cute in S1-2 when they were just friends slowly growing closer (like Fluttercord) but then it devolve into teenage triangle dramas. Imagine if Discord was dating Pinkie and then Celestia before falling for Fluttershy. Imagine Fluttershy after Discordant harmony making out with Big Mac or Soarin. It ruin the developed chemistry. Which is why the villains and story is the only thing worthwile in this show anymore. Im glad that S8 returns, though since there isn't much else on tv right now beside Star vs.

Oh man, if this sort of drama was applied to Fluttercord, it totally ruin their dynamic and what made them such an endearing ship to begin with.Β
Honestly I could really go without all this shipping drama from the show and the fandom, Holy Odin! Do I not care for Drama. I just want to ship cute stuff and happiness.Β
Truth be told, I was a little bit peeved they gave us Tomstar in the show since I didn't want to ship anything and I know shipping tomstar would only set me up for disappointment later on, yet the show gives me this ship on a silver plate only to be consumed once, like c'mon did ya have to show me such a beautiful world that is unattainable, that so mean, man! XDΒ
But it's to late for me now, I've already fallen to deep, I will just enjoy my Tomstar AU, a completely separated universe from the canon show, where there is no drama and just happy fluff. XD I'm sorry I'm a weak person.Β
I never cared for Star and Marco as an item, since the shows plot is so transparent, it's obvious the're gonna end up together, but I feel the show is going in a very dull direction now, in order for it to happen, compared to earlier seasons. I don't want to watch a show where I see other characters get hurt or left behind, in order for Starco to happen. Was it necessary to drag Tom and Kelly into this? Couldn't they have made Starco happen without other character getting involved or hurt?Β
I get it, if they maybe wanted to portray teenage romance/relationshipΒ in a more ''realistic'' light, but damn real life suck, I don't want that in my cartoons XDΒ Β
But yeah, it's pretty much the same for me, I only watch the show for Eclipsa and Meteora now after all these triangle dramas that I don't care about at all or want to watch.

Nah, not entirely feeling the Meteora/Rasticore ship. But Meteora is really growing into becoming one of my favorite characters of the show.
