Based on the Is this a pigeon? memeBecause recently DeviantArt has been using the "Think of the children" card these days.
We get it, mature tags for mature content, but not everything deserves that tag.
I just hate how easy someone can report your work, and there's a chance of said work can be deleted for the simplest reasons.
Anyway, [ F ] for all my reported pieces.

If you've seen the Eclipse Mode on DA, I bet it's the new design for this site and we have to use it, whether we like it or not.

A bit late, but this is my whole take on the "think about the children!" excuse.
Real Talk: THINK ABOUT THE CHILDREN!11!!1!1Well what do you know..? This is the first Real Talk journal in a long time. I'm gonna get some thoughts off my chest.
From these past 3 years I've been on dA, especially with the type of art I draw and like, there's this constant argument being made, whether it be fetish related, or simple pinups of certain characters.
"This crap DOESN'T belong on dA."
"You sick freak..."
"My childhood... Ruined..."
And of course, my favorite excuse:
"Think about the children!!!"
This strikes me as odd. I should not be allowed to draw or post certain pics on dA because some tiny tots might see it? Oh wow! I had no idea! Do I care...?
I could honestly care less about kids seeing my art. A parent could be screaming at me about how I've "damaged their son's brain growth", and I would not be swayed.
I'm gonna outline why this excuse is total BS.
1. I am an artist. I am NOT their parent.

It's such a damn shame that DeviantArt has come to this point. Before, DA's rules use to be very clear and understandable and we're following them accordingly cause some of us artists, we like it here and we enjoy sharing our artwork here, but now at this point in time, it's become something else. Suddenly people are forgetting what is mature content and what isn't mature content. Some of these people don't even bother looking up the rules and policies to get a better understanding, no, instead they're going by their gut feeling and randomly targeting out our artwork. This is not what DeviantArt was meant for, it's becoming unfair and there is barely any freedom of artistic expression because of this ridiculous report system.

I know, that almost happens to every website.
For every new update, they make new rules and policies that fucks with their own users.
I don't know how to describe it, there's too much "control" that it feels like walking on thin ice.
Youtube = A new update for each month + a new shitty design, also false-flagging videos.
Facebook/Twitter = Biased, double standards, and too many unnecessary rules that you can be suspended/banned for stupid reasons.
