"Oh my god! Somebody remembered this movie and wrote a comedy sketch about it!" -- Robot Chicken, Twist Endings SketchThis little cutie is Angela from the obscure slasher movie, Sleepaway Camp. The movie wasn't fabulous, but Angela is a great slasher. She's very creative (death by beehive in toilet = awesome), not to mention adorable and kind of sweet for a psycho killer. Also, she has the best ending EVER for a slasher film. (I don't want to spoil anyone, but just ask if you're curious)

There were some seriously funny moments in that movie. And I was so shocked when I saw the ending of the movie. That was definitely one of the more shocking moments in Horror Movie history, especially in that decade. Love this though. very cute.

I love her in the first movie and it's first sequel (the third, not much), she's so sweet, fragile, yet she harbors something so incredible inside...and it's brutal! XD

Well actually........
Angela's great. She really is kind of innocent at her core, since all of her victims are just assholes who harmed her or her cousin(and only friend), Ricky. Even though you don't find out she's the killer until the end, you're rooting for her because she's ridding the world of a sea of twats. And she does it so creatively. 8D

Mostly, I want to know if it was the kind of bad slasher film that you laugh at, or that you cringe at. 'Cause I laugh at Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street, but I cringe at Chucky.

It's the kind you laugh at, because most of the actors are just so terrible. The girl playing Angela is good, but some of the others (like the girl playing the camp's stereotypical bitchy slut) are so over the top you just can't WAIT for them to die. Plus, the ending kicks total ass and makes up for everything bad.
I love Bride of Chucky and Seed of Chucky, but of the original Child's Play's, I only like the first one. The two sequels were kind of dull. (Except for the moment in part II when Chucky beats a teacher to death with a ruler. OH THE IRONY.)

The thing that always bugged me about Chucky is that... for cripes sake, it's a DOLL! Grab the bugger by the foot and launch it at a wood chipper! Problem solved!
I mean, Michael, Freddy, Jason... those guys are immortal, a demon, and a zombie (respectfully). They have excuses! Chucky is just... I dunno, it's cheesy 80's horror, but I like stuff to make some sort of sense.

Yeah, that's my biggest problem with Chucky, too. I mean, there's that scene in the first one where the mom threatens to throw him in the fire. WHY DOESN'T SHE??? It makes no sense. That's why I liked the direction Mancini went in with Bride and Seed. It was acknowledging just how dumb this idea was.

Because then there wouldn't have been a movie, and they wouldn't have had a franchise. It's kinda that "WHY did you dig up Jason again?!" or "WHY did this young teen move to Elm Street?!" thing. They do it because if they didn't there wouldn't be much of a story.
