So in the original story, the catalyst that sets off Lily to transform Meg is because their milk jug falls to the ground spilling as a result of Lily bluntly stating she snooped into Megan’s files to see her interests on her computer, which is something Meg ABHORS and clearly says was in the rules of her interview to give Lily the room to share. Lily just scoffs it off and shows Megan her powers by beginning her transformation.

For this I decided to let Lily and Meg already have spent a week at least living. Lily DID do her interview, but the confusing aspect was just HOW quick and ready she was to arrive JUST AS Meg put out flyers. Almost like how Mary Poppins arrived the Banks house prepped and ready and talked her way in, I can see Lily doing something similar. She already KNOWS Megan is interested due to sensing her aura AND pointing out things that are open to view like Megan’s Animorphs collection. Gets the same outcome but you don’t feel disturbed by Lily’s actions.

In this scenario we have Lily not taking Meg’s advice to get more milk earlier and that the only way would have to be to wait till their local store opens…orrrr…
