Description I just came back from a vacation yesterday so I am still in a fresh mood. So, i decided to do this smiling self portrait.It could have been much better as I realise the mistakes now, still this is my best self portrait I've done so far. The title is from Switchfoot's song "learning to breathe"

Oh... charcoal... you are very talented to have the patience with charcoal i find it to be very time consuming (and i find it hard enough to read my clocks with out teeth marks all over it)

Any ways ( i know you said you realised some things others may just not apply)...
..1. you picked a very realistic light source for the figure in the picture. However, it does not seem to be consistant throughout the piece... (examples include: THE HAIR- ithe cast shadow from the hair dose not look long enough for the light source you used... THE BUTTERFLIES- the lower butterfly should be in the figures shadow (unless its farthe back in the picture in which case it should be smaller..) and the butter fly higher up should had some more light cast upon it.. and the shoulder has too much light cast on it)
..2. omg thats all i see at the moment... great work
