Oooh I love such walkthroughs! They show me how it's build up and I can learn a lot from it! thank you for sharing this! I have a little question: is it always the best to put all (or most) elements together first and after that start blending them and color and light/shadows?

I work very randomly. Most of the times the first thing I do is to cut out the girl (or whatever the main subject is) & add her to the background. Then so the photo makes more sense to me as a whole, I fix the color, hues and levels. Then start with the lighting on the main subject and then the rest. More often then not, I add other components when both are worked upon, in this case, the flower vines. But this isn't always the sequence.
So the answer is, you can pick whatever sequence works the best for you.
