UPDATED PICMade my first ever Yule wreath, kept it simple this year, but next year I hope to do more, now that I know what I'm doing.
Mother night was the 20th which is the day before the Winter Solstice (usually the 21nd) and the begining ofthe Yule season.
My end of Yule wish, in runic letters it says "wealth". Additional wishes My wife: Health & happiness, our friend Silver: Health and our other friend TK: Alonetime.

Most people have forgotten that, as most the wreaths nowadays are plastic frilly things, you dust off and reuse every year.

yeah..'id of tried to set some of those on fire as a youngen :. .. still nice make, i think i'll start that tradition up again in my family.. not sure if the Scottish did it.. but seems cool none the less
