Appearance: Light-skinned African-American, brown eyes, buzzcut dark brown hair. Main outfit is a chrome pair of headphones, orange framed sports sunglasses, purple track jacket with white lines down sleeves, orange t-shirt, grey sweatpants, and purple and orange inline skates. Carrying messenger bag with black and white checkerboard pattern.

Personality: Tempo is a thrillseeker who loves exciting, high-energy activities, as well as enjoying expression through creative methods, especially artwork. He is also impatient, quick to leave if he thinks something is boring unless it is important. He generally has a casual attitude around others, staying cool and calm and voicing what’s on his mind.

Abilities: As a street skater, he is skilled at using the environment to his advantage, either during a fight or to make fast getaways. He also has some limited experience in street fighting and breakdancing.

Equipment: Tempo's skates are actually Speedster Skates, which, as the name implies, allow the wearer to travel at high speeds. The skates contain a small motor that can increase or decrease the speed according to the user's input and its magnetic wheels allow the user to skate or stand on metallic walls, ceilings, or other metallic surfaces.

Tempo also uses a pair of special razor discs that can be thrown like boomerangs and retract their blades when coming back to him, so he doesn't chop off his hands trying to catch them, as well as a special pair of yo-yos, the strings of which can be manipulated through controls on the finger rings. Tempo can use them as melee weapons and grappling hooks.

Background: Tempo is a member of the Drifters, a competitive stunt team including skaters, BMX bikers, freerunners, and breakdancers, with Tempo being one of the best skaters on the team. After a recent win at a competition, the Drifters were chosen by a technology company sponsoring the event to test some new experimental gear for them. This made them targets for the Novas gang in South Grind City, but the group used their new equipment to fight them off. Seeing just what he is capable of with his new gear, Tempo decided to put it to use as a Revolutionary, helping to keep innocent people safe from the activities of the city's gangs.
