your shadingness is so good! I always forget to shade mine. especially recently. Hope you'll be able to slow down over christmas, I know what it's like to be so busy you can't even sketch. (and boy, do I hate it.)

Hee, I love trolls. I like 'em in D+D, too. they get to attack people from two squares away due to the long arms, so they're fun characters. bit hard to use in cities, though. *sigh*

Blending stumps...I need to find some here, and I'll get them for you to try. I don't know where any art supply stores are around here though. Hm. They're basically pencil-shaped rolls of compacted felt. They're about $2.50 for 2 in the States, so I'd assume they're the same here, I can't see them being more.

They're pretty cheap. Cheap enough that when they get too dull I usually chunk them and buy new ones instead of doing the whole 'sharpening with sandpaper' thing.

I really don't do drawings on commission anymore, since no one felt the need to pay me. Long, sad, emo story that I'd rather not deal with. This was kind of an exception, because he's helped me a lot in WoW and spent a lot of time and gold showing me the ropes, and it was a special request that I do it by hand.
