So yesterday I was moaning publically about art block, and today I'm submitting something? Yeah, sounds like me
Anyway, this only happened because of Art-A-Month, because it's challenging me to do art each month, and it seems I'm loath to pass up a challenge. I'm still kinda stuck when it comes to drawing original things, but while that doesn't work, I might as well train my eye. Could be useful, yes? So, meet the lovely gentleman I found over on Creature Spot. I call him Dave.

Very cool! You could even make it come more to life with some 5B far strokes around the ear and the shoulders I think. Nonetheless, amazing work

What a charming gent! I love all the wrinkles--they are very well done and the shading looks wonderful. Do his ears perk up when he is excited or happy? What kind of environment does he live in? I want to know so much more about him. His eye is wonderfully drawn and intense. Thank you for sharing him.
