What's s Sugar Bean?

Sugar Beans are the national currency of the Sugar Devils and can be earned from participating in prompts, doing jobs, drawing gift art, or even drawing for yourself! They can be used to buy a number of different things in the Bean Emporium.

1 Sugar Bean = $1.00 = 100 dA points

Your sugar beans are tide to your dA account, not your Sugar Devil. So you can earn sugar beans with any character!
Below is a breakdown of certain pieces of artwork tied to their sugar bean value.

Commissions, bases and YCHs are not accepted!

Drawings
All art that isn't a full body counts as a negative!

Traditional or Digital
- 1 bean for headshots/partials
+ 1 bean for lineart/sketch
+ 1 bean for coloring
+ 1-3 beans for shading ( depending on complexity )
+ 2 beans for drawing another person's Sugar Devil
+ 3-4 beans for backgrounds ( depend on complexity )
+ 3 beans for simple animation
+ 5 beans for complex animations
+ 3 beans for 3D digital model art

Writing
All writing must be legible and in english

Short Stories
1 bean for 250 words
2 beans for 500 words
3 beans for 1500 words
5 beans for 2500 + words
+ 1 bean for every Sugar Devil included in the story ( must have a role in the story )

Crafts
All writing must be legible and in english

Traditional Crafts
20 beans for simple plushies
40 beans for detailed plushies
7 beans for simple clay art
14 beans for detailed, painted clay art
15 beans for needle-felt art

Art that counts towards beans
- personal work
- prompt art
- job art
- gift art
- art trades
- free raffle art ( held by other players )

Please submit all art to be counted for beans to the Bean Work folder in the gallery! It will not be counted if it's not there
