1 Nightwing: “So let’s talk about the spear.”
1 Batman: “Where, exactly, it is held is unknown. It may be on his person – the Joker apparently produces it from his coat pocket when he recruited, or thought he recruited, people like Mister Freeze and Poison Ivy.”
2 Spoiler: “So best case scenario, the Spear of Destiny is in plain sight or in the Joker’s hands.”
2 Batman: “Next best would be if we can quickly determine where it is, even if it is hard to access. Within a safe, for example, or encased inside Clayface’s body.”
3 Spoiler: “I doubt that. Wouldn’t that just make Clayface the leader?”
3 Batman: “Not if it’s inside a case of some sort to prevent him from touching it.”
4 Robin: “So this night stands to be hard and gross.”
4 Nightwing: “Maybe we’ll see it with the thermal vision.”
5 Batman: “But that does bring up a good point. Before we touch it, the spear needs to be encased in something. We can’t count on the Joker providing us with a briefcase. Wax would be preferable as a sealing agent, but that quantity would be slow-hardening. So everyone will have spray-on polymers equipped on their utility belt. If you see it, spray it and bag it. Only then try to handle the damned thing.”
6 Batman: “Worst case scenario is if we have to waste a lot of time looking for it. I doubt it’s off-site, but there’s also a possibility that it will require explosives to access. In that eventuality, we’ll all have C4 on our belts.”
6 Hunterss: “Excellent.”
