2 Zod: “And do you include this fool among us, or them?”
2 Superman: “He’s both. The bridge between us. Fully a man and yet a hero.”
3 Zod: “Poppycock.”
3 Batman: “Keep him grounded, where I can reach him.”
4 Zod: “Zod is invulnerable, human. Do you think your children’s playthings matter to me?”
4 Batman: “They’ll at least split your focus.”
5 Zod: “Why does he even keep you around? The other two are formidable, but you… you’re just a man in a costume. What makes you think you can grapple with Zod?”
6 Batman: “The world’s greatest ego.”
6 Zod: “Or its most profound death wish.”
