1 Superman: “We’ve got to presume that they succeeded in most of their intended goal with the missile. So, given what a dangerous surprise this was, it would behoove us to extrapolate out what their next move will be.”
2 Doctor Fate: “What exactly is in that area, that the Joker wants to keep Superman and Power Girl away from?”
2 Batman: “It’s hard to say. And… maybe the missile was detonated prematurely, and it didn’t spread far enough to reach its true target.”
3 Raven: “Then let’s estimate out a further twenty miles. It’s a big region, but we have a lot of information. Surely we can narrow down what kind of job would be impossible to do if interference from Superman and Power Girl were a possibility.”
3 Green Lantern: “That’s a good idea. Although that’s a big, multi-state ring.”
4 Raven: “Given how much magic all sides of that fight were slinging, they didn’t think magic alone would keep Kryptonians at bay.”
4 Zatanna: “But combat magic can be loud and difficult to conceal from other practitioners. Certainly, these guys weren’t even trying to mask their efforts. So maybe the next job just requires quiet. The deterrent has to be passive, because if either of them so much as sniff around, the mission is already spoiled.”
5 Power Girl: “That would be useful. If we can discover it in time, an operation that delicate should be easy to disrupt.”
5 Batman: “I just wish I could predict him. But his behavior, his plans, have always been… seemingly irrational, until they take effect.”
6 Wonder Woman: “I’m not sure that was setup for another job. It may have just been a straight assassination attempt that we barely managed to avoid. All the previous Doomsdays luring us into a false sense of his intentions, with this last one meant to kill two of our strongest members from an unexpected direction.”
6 Batman: “If there are no further Doomsday attacks, I’ll believe that, too.”
