Just working through some more robots for a little relaxation. This guy is just checking the time before he heads back to the office while enjoying a little hot beverage.Pencils, pitt pens, photoshop overlay
UPDATED-Modified the overlay and added a little 5 o'clock shadow.

Bingo! Brilliant shadow-ink work, Mike! I love all the detailing; the recessed vents, the layered, scalloped metal, it's all got a lovely quasi-retro flair to it, and terminating with that wonderful "birth of the robot era" (1920's) head shape! A tremendous drawing, Sir, and I could only hope that you'll show us a version with one of your very cool "retro" cityscapes behind him! Cheers, Roger Fave'd!

Thank you! I hope to "flesh" him out as it were, or at least the background. I always draw the head first for some reason, I hope to develop them a little further, it always feels like the head has less detail than all the joints and body get, but I think that it does help that the expression isn't too busy. I will get busy on that robotic urban design project soon! At least a couple of doodles!
