Description
This is a second attempt a dropping the lines from the images and going with just a block look, this time with Superman. Given that today is the 4th of July I put him against a stylized flag background.

I did an initial pencil sketch to serve as the base, then drew over that in Photoshop adding the color in large blocks and the occasional shading. The background was done initially in Illustrator then brought into Photoshop for the textures and final composing.
