Description There were several other moray eels on display at the London Aquarium, but due to the lighting and positioning of the tank this was the only I was able to capture with any amount of focus and lighting. Really weird creatures. They sway back and forth, eyes blinking, mouth open. Oddly hypnotic to watch them.

Wow look at the craziness the glass does to the picture optics. I know well enough about that. Definitely more well-endowed than our garden eels, that's for sure.

You should have seen the regular morays. Creepy looking things. Like something out of the age of dinosaurs, so raw and primitive. It's the eyes that do it for me everytime. Scary.

Glad you enjoyed the London Aquarium. Get a chance to see the tropical freshwater exhibit ? Are there still giant gouramis there by any chance?
