Location: Sanchi, Madhya Pradesh, India

So I went to the Stupas in Sanchi when I had gone back home. I have gone there a few times. This time I was only going to test my camera out... and have a family outing of sorts as well.

I will upload few of the shots as I go along.

I am particularly proud of this shot. The Buddha statue was inside an old temple. The "X"s you see is the grill they put in front to probably avoid people from going in.

I think they didn't want anyone to see the statue either cause there was no lighting inside and in the mad mid-day sun glare, there was no way you could see in the darkened room inside.

So I tried it with my camera and was pleased to see the result. The lens was almost touching the grill at this point and I used no flash... or tripod. This was what was captured by the camera!
