I LOVE to play the Sims 2 game. It is one of my few games I play often. Not that I have many games to begin with. Anyway, here is a family I was playing with, but have moved them out the house for another family.Yes they are all pregnant, the one in blue is just not as far along as the other three are.

I have both the Sims 2 and Sims 3 installed on my PC, so if I don't feel like Sims 3 I can always play Sims 2

It's been so long since I put this picture up I can't remember how they got pregnant anymore. It might have been with the Tombstone or 1 male sim (I experiment a lot). I can' remember.

So, can they only get pregnant in the computer version and not other versions? What expansion(s) do you need?

I don't know about any other versions, I only ever play the PC version. Also you get the inSIMenator for every expansion I think, I can't remember.

What version of body Shop are you trying to use?
it is usually a good idea to use the copy of Body Shop that comes with your latest expansion. So if you have say Free Time, you use the Body Shop that came with that and not the one that came with The Sims 2.

I find University drags on...but I think the boolProp cheat can help speed it along. I've yet to try it though...
