I really like the washed out tones and the colors are very well done.

thanks however, my friend pointed out that there wasnt any eye-holes so he would ultimately be useless kinda took out the terror aspect of it after that

Hahahahahah

Well, H. R. Giger said once he created the Alien creature without eyes, so it would be scarier, as nobody could know where it is looking at...

I guess this guy probably can perceive the ambient around him without eyes

Nice, I'd like to know though, how do you get this style of image (which program/style of design)? I've been wondering for a while as the effect is really cool

i use photoshop and a graphics tablet to paint all my works. the coloring job is mainly playing with the layer modes over a monochromatic drawing. hope that helps, or were you looking for a different response??

No, that was a good response I have recently purchased the master collection (CS5) and I feel like I know nothing about it Don't worry I will learn so that it is not wasted (I do know how to do some stuff and that is helpful hehe ) Are there any tips you could give me? :/

Oh basically just doing images like that, I've not really been sure on how to get more toned images (I think I mean less flatness and more depth and better transitioning of colours)

well, i cant really say everyone has their own style that they're comfortable with. once you develop yours, stick with it. the anatomy, depth, perspective can all be learned through studying (drawing out) reference images. the more you draw, the more you will improve. also, try looking at [link] and [link] for some great tutorials

hope that answers your question

Also thanks for the links and well the time spent on input

One last question for now. Which graphics tablet do you have and would you recommend that or another?

well i use an intuos4. very nice tablet IMO, but i've heard that the intuos5 has gotten some good reviews since its release so if money isnt such an issue i think you should go for that .
