The mask started from a plain plastic base. The white areas are paper mached with printed text pages from a book and treated with acrylic paint for an aged look. These areas aren’t as bright white as they appear in the photos but are tinged with brown and darkened around the edges. The checker board pattern on the mask is textured; swirls in the black squares and raised stripes in the red squares. All the gold designs are raised as are the black edges around the eye and top edge. The whole thing has been sealed with a glossy varnish for protection and shine.

Approximate Measurements:
(Taken at inner edges of the back of the mask. Measurements will narrow as they peek into facial features)
7 ¾” long
5 ¼” wide at forehead
3 ¾” wide at chin
2” deep at chin

This Mask was made to be decorative. Do not leave it in prolonged direct sunlight or heat. The mask can be worn, there’s a black elastic band in the back and the inside has been left exposed white plastic. If you want it to wear please be warned this mask is small and a bit oddly shaped. The face is narrow, especially at the chin, and the eyes holes are places low in the face.
