Description Like I said in my journal, new Ubuntu is out there, and in my opinion this great distro deserves a decent DVD box cover. Somehow I always miss something in official Ubuntu CD sleeves, so I decided to do a cover on my own again, after covers i did for Ubuntu 10.04 LTS... I tried to keep it clean, readable, and useful before anything else. And ofcourse i tried to keep official-ish feel, with official vectors, font an color palette.

Download it, fave it, print it, and enjoy...

UPDATE - 20.10.2010:
After some suggestions, there is now CD sleeve cover version included, that you can make your own paper sleeve box, similar to official sleeves that Ubuntu CD's are shipped with. And I did some upgrades/fixes to DVD cover, as you can see on preview. Front title was not perfectly centered, so it's fixed now, and back side a bit modified too, with new baloon style. Small changes are applied to side tab too. And there are now 64-bit versions included too.

If you're looking for Kubuntu version, it's here:

PS: WOW, my first DD.

Well, it would be really nice to join the Ubuntu Team, but to be honest I never get any deep into "how to" part of it. I thought that it's a bit complicated, but I guess I was wrong. So surely I will check this Ubuntu Team wiki site.

And thanks for invite.

If you ask me, I currently don't have any need for upgrading, cause I love my 10.04 installation, and it's LTS after all...

You deserve it. Did you do this with photoshop in wine?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

theeldis In reply to Kanuka76 [2010-10-20 20:08:22 +0000 UTC]

Unfortunately not... I did this in regular Photoshop, under Windows, cause I had some serious bugs with PS2 under wine (mostly due to my insufficient system resources I think), and I'm still discovering GIMP world, but my skills in GIMP are not yet a half good as skills in Ps, unfortunately.

Kanuka76 In reply to theeldis [2010-10-21 19:23:06 +0000 UTC]

I got psp cs2 in linux as portable. Not need to install wine, just copy this folder where you want and use it. It's very useful and work very well Anyway if you have some resources problem it will never work well. I'm sorry

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

theeldis In reply to Kanuka76 [2010-10-21 19:34:52 +0000 UTC]

So what about other versions? Ps CS3? Ps CS4? Do they work in portable version as well? But nevermind, I really want to master GIMP as soon as possible.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Kanuka76 In reply to theeldis [2010-10-22 07:12:05 +0000 UTC]

I tried with CS4 but it work slowly... Portable meens that you have a folder with the correct version of wine in the same folder. You don't have to install it in your computer. CS2 work very well, CS4 has got some problems. I suppose that it will be fixed with new version of wine

Anyway if you are interested in the portable version contact me by note
