Greetings!So far the year is off to a fantastic start! I just had my best friends in THE WORLD visit me the past few days to celebrate my upcoming birthday. It was SUCH a blast, didn't want the experience to end! And, actually, it's not QUITE over yet; one of my dear friends is still here! *kaleso is sitting right next to me playing with her phone. haha.
It was fantastic to get to start the year with dear friends and photoshoots of our two newest cosplays! Here's one of our favorite shots from the Sailor Moon photoshoot. ♥
Because these costumes mean so much to us, we put alot of time and thought into these outfits! We're so hardcore that we even hand painted the pattern on our fabric to make sure we'd have the right color/plaid pattern. At fist I wasn't too sure about the fabric, but it has grown on us both so much. I really like it now. ^^
It was such a special shoot, I can't thank *kaleso enough for cosplaying this with me. Sailor Moon has such a special place in my heart and while it's not my FAVORITE anime/manga of all time, I did grow up with it and do love it dearly. It means alot to me and cosplaying Haruka and Michiru with one of my best friends is just a dream come true. I still remember watching and re-watching the first episode where Usagi meets Haruka and Michiru. x) I've lost count of how many times I've watched it.
Phew! I don't know what else to say, I'm so overwhelmed with joy from seeing everyone and just all of the excitement.
BTW, ~Kurasari and Jenny make THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MUSIC for *kaleso and I to dance interpretively to. xDD ...Best part? I got it all on film. Totally want to post it, but I'm not sure if they'd kill me if I did. BUT WE SHALL SEE! ha!

UHM, well as a child my favorite episode was always the one where Usagi first meets Haruka. And she thinks Haruka is a "hunky guy". <33
