Time for another pic of everyone's favorite drummer!I finally saw Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World - the movie!!
It's about time!! XD
- the movie never was released on theaters in Switzerland (last movie they scrapped I remember were the Punisher War Zone and the new Rambo...though we still get all those indie flicks from the Sundance festival and whatnots..)
- I could have bought the US DVD...but somehow never got to or forgot..
- the DVD was released last week here
Therefore I can finally say:
It's the best movie of the year! (2010...)
And one of the best comic-to-movies adaptations! Fun, pushing the envelope of the video medium, playing with its concept, etc..
There were even some tiny touches of SPACED, Edgar Wright's classic tv series. (specially in the early parts of the movie)

I honestly found the film more enjoyable than the comic, probably because Edgar Wright is such a fun director and he cut most of the love drama nonsense.

And the ending was kinda messy/hard to follow in the comic, while the movie ending, despite being similar, is much better paced/told.
