Steven Universe is a coming of age story about Steven, who lives with magical girl warriors, known as The Crystal Gems, as they protect Beach City and the rest of the world from evil gem creatures. The series first debuted on November 5th, 2013, on Cartoon Network. The show was created by Rebecca Sugar (Adventure Time and Hotel Transylvania), making her the first female on CN with her own show.

It's strange, but it has a charm to it that lots of old 80s shows I watched had, like Rainbow Brite (though I only watched the movie, not the series).
I really like Captain 80s with the Star Trek glasses. She's pretty cool.
I don't know their names yet though. I need to memorize them. Sometimes it takes me a while to do that.

I like this show and I also feel like it has potential.

I think it's a great show. Some of it's humor is a bit off, but that will probably be worked out in the next few episodes.
Let's just pray this replaces Johnny Test (No offence if you like that show's later seasons).

I think Steven Universe is an amazing show from the first 4 episodes I've seen. The animation, very likable characters, music(composed by Rebecca Sugar herself who wrote most of Adventure Time's music), art style and heart put into it are just the key ingredients on why this show works on so many different levels.

Great animation, designs, jokes, and I love the subtle Japanese anime influences. This, Uncle Granpa, andΒ Gumball have been on a roll with me as good CN cartoons in a long time.
