I'm creating a heart theme calendar as part of a calendar promotion project at !The-Heart Club, but I don't have 12 new heart theme deviations. So I'm creating a few.This one is a remake of my original deviation "Ce n'est pas un coeur" , a spoof on Rene Magritte's "This Is Not A Pipe".
This is a desktop wallpaper.

Did you look at the original? Horrid!!!! I left it in my gallery for so long because I liked the concept, but as I improved, I could see how horrible it really was. I always wanted to redo it, and with the project going on at *The-Heart , I figured this was as good a time as any.

quite beautiful! i like the way it seems to be encased in a transparent layer. you can imagine it beating to fill the shape, then receeding... not crazy about the large writing at the bottom. maybe a very small version directly across the heart, like a tatoo?

The font was the closest I could find in the ones that I have to the original. I did think it should maybe have been paler, however, in the origina "this is not a pipe" by Magritte, the writing is in that approximate place and that's why it's there in mine.
But, I appreciate the complements, I really do.
