Very spontaneous piece that I drew after this came out: The Date - a dragon story

And just in time for Valentine's Day!

Here are Boomslang and Shadow again. Boomslang is my character and Shadow is SabretoothedWolf 's character.

For those who don't know, Sabre has been writing several stories about Shadow and other Dragurwing characters like Boomslang. In the stories, Shadow and Boomslang are close friends who like spending time together. They both have underlying feelings for each other, though both are hesitant as they don't want to compromise their friendship. Shadow does try to confess his feelings a few times, but never does due to misunderstandings or other factors getting in the way. Boomslang as well has made subtle hints that she likes him and wants to be with him. I even contributed to this 'will they won't they' dynamic that they have in my own story that I wrote about them a few months back.
And in this newest story, Shadow finally worked up the courage to ask her on a date via a letter. Some shenanigans ensue (she doesn't find the letter right away), but it ends with them having dinner at his house.

So the ship has finally sailed, and I had to draw something.

I had been meaning to draw some sort of Valentine's Day thing with one of my OC couples. I wasn't sure what couple to do though so when Sabre wrote his story I was like "Oh yeah, I know who I'm drawing."
