Description A new look at our weird backed friend the Jurassic World Evolution Deinonychus, besides the back and visible ribs, I like it. It's got a unique color scheme and look, and I would love to see a different pack structure than the normal "This one's an alpha". If we don't get that uniqueness, then I will come back and figure out my own for this weird but wonderful dinosaur.

Same, my only problem is that weird back.

Yeah, and that sail is really weird. A cock's crown or whatever it's called seemed like a pretty cool idea to me, but that weird sail is just weird.

Yep, but I have a feeling their going to be just as aggressive as the Velociraptor, which is confirmed as it's own genus with a weird growth mutation in game.

true...indeed.

it's wired how (even in real life) the public asks for "more excitement" instead of "reality"

exactly, that's what i mean it's realistic to what the general  public in real life thinks about dinosaurs

which is why I love the indominus rex, it's symbolic of being a living manifestation of humanity superficiality towards dinosaurs.

or as HoopsandDinoMan put it.

"the general public isn't interested in things like how the joints of dinosaur bones worked or theories on the structure of their internal organs, they just want to imagine dinosaurs fighting and big carnivores like t-rex eating smaller herbivores...

Most people only care about the terrifying image associated with dinosaurs, not the science of it, and that unfortunate fact is made manifest by the indominus rex, a creature that shouldn't even exist and only does to satisfy humanity's appetite for monsters.

so in a cleaver kind of way, it's like our superficiality has taken on a physical form and is literally destroying us"

there;s a scene in JW where Claire is allowing owen to inspect the paddock and she says this...

Claire- "the park has to introduce a new attraction every so often to keep public interest up, kinda like the space-program, corperate felt genetic modification would up the wow, factor..."

Owen- "they're dinosaurs, wow enough"

Claire- "not according to our sponsors, the INDOMINUS REX makes us relevant again"

Owen- (laughing) "the indomi-nus rex"
(likely thinking how "cheesy it sounds at first)

Claire- "we needed something that was scary, but also easy to pronounce, you should try hearing a four-year-old say arheornithomimmus"

it basically directly explains to owen and the audience why it was given that name.

At first I really hated this deinonychus design, and it's still not my favorite, but it's started to grow on me. It's not as horrible as I thought it was when I first looked at it.

Yeah, that's what many of us thought, while it has grown to one of my favorite raptor looks in the franchise, because the normal raptors in the franchise have unfortunately been overused every where, except my favorite, the Jurassic Park lll one.

exactly, plus people shouldn't be this picky when there's a dilophosaurus that spits venom and have neck-frills
