What I really, really like of this work is the expressions and aspect of the three of them. Leela is great as Minnie and Bender is so nicely "innocent", particularly his eyes give me the idea of a nice, cute kid. The design is neat and well coloured; if there is one thing disturbing me, it may be colour itself... as the Steamboat cartoon was in black and white and that would have enhanced the feeling of "oldie" coming from the drawing already. However, these colours fit in pretty well so in the end, I find myself accepting your decision of putting it in full colour.
