Β His words rang in Twisty's heads like loud bells. Though they should've known better, the little angel couldn't help but be slightly surprised at Bodhi's hared words. True, they weren't the smartest, but they can tell when something hurtful is being said. But they didn't get mad, no. They felt ... pity towards the Anubis. They delicately put their hand on Bodhi's hand, the one that held their face mockingly. They gave the cruel man a small smile. Not a cheerful one, or that of a mocker as equal as he. Just a soft sympathetic one. It was hard to tell if the angel took his words to heart. But they replied back to Bodhi softly.Β

Bodhi's expression changed from a smug-ish look into a surprised one. Just what were they getting at? The question was being tossed from is head, wondering as to what the angel was talking about. His look quickly switches from shock to frustration. "What are you saying, sweetheart?", his voice sounding more venomous than usual.

Twisty kept their eyes on Bodhi.

Bodhi's lips curl into a devilish grin, maintaining eye contact with the angel. "I treat everyone like utter garbage, doll. Including those two, horrible boys you hang around with who call themselves, 'musicians'. I get what I want, and that's the money in people's pockets..". Bodhi than jabs Twisty on the shoulder with his index finger. "I'm only nice to my customers only because I'm in it for their money." He than jabs them again, more harder this time. Continuing to say, " I suggest you get on out of here if you don't take too kindly to my behavior, I was never your friend in the first place, little one." Bodhi takes his hand away from Twisty's shoulder, snapping his fingers and pointing towards the entrance of the store. " Do me the honor of getting your useless hide out of my store..."

Twisty flinched with each jab, but still stood inside. Normally they would listen. But something just urged them to stay.
"N-no," Twist said,"And I never said had any problems with you Bodhi. I still wanna be your friends, Bodhi. Even if you don't see me as one!"
They looked back at Bodhi with a sympathetic smile. Then they tried seeing something to casually change the subject. Bodhi seemed too drunk to notice. If he couldn't acknowledge their question then he'll most likely ignore what they just day said. At least that's what they hoped for.

Bodhi's eyes narrowed at the angel. He walks over to a nearby table to settle his glass of wine on, facing Twisty, his hands curling into fists. "If you do not cooperate with me youngin', I'll force you out.." , he said with a snarl, cracking his knuckles. " I will do nothing but take action". With the buzz from the wine, Bodhi was unable to handle this matter through communication. The only thought to make the angel leave, was to use brute force.

But something grabbed their wing.

As Twisty turns to face what was grabbing their wing, they were met with a fist to the face. The sudden impact made the angel tumble down to the floor. Bodhi stands above them, crouching down on top of Twisty, grasping the collar of their rob. " Don't come back here again, do you hear me, darlin? ", he said with fire in his eyes as he stares down them.

"I hear you, but I'll still come back," Twisty groaned.
The punch hurt like the dickens, but it didn't stop Twisty from looking back up at the drunk anubis. They would've gotten up and continued talking if it weren't for Bodhi's fierce grip on their robe.
"I'll always came back to see you. Even if you say the meanest things or knock me around. I like you Bodhi, and I'll always be your friend. Whether you like it or not."
Twisty mentally braced themselves for anything Bodhi was gonna do. But Bodhi could see it in the angel's face that they were serious about what they said and that they meant it.

I think Twisty would be very invested in Bodhi. Mostly due to the fact that he's a jerk, same thing with June, who has.. issues.
Bodhi seems to be committing the sin of greed with his money. Twisty would try to figure out how to help Bodhi and June(without them knowing otherwise, they'll take firkin offense to that)
After all, people aren't born as cruel people. They were either taught to be like that, learned it, or were treated with cruelty.
