I like it, well done. The light at his hand may be a tough too strong though, it washes out some of the detail on the ring, but otherwise it is very well done.

It's a great image. There is one thing you may want to go back and look at. Hal Jordan wears his ring on his middle finger --not the ring finger. I love how you got the glows and the shadowing. It's very impressive for your first render.

I struggled with saying anything because it was so good, but I am a stickler for my own work and I know sometimes that people really want good and accurate feedback so I pointed it out.

A lot of emotion in this one- good work! As for the over-blown hand, a low-opacity layer of mid range green on top should help a little bit.

Thanks! Yeah.. this was my first work. Was a straight pose and render... probably should have spend some time in Photoshop before churning it out.

I'm basically at the same experience level as you are with 3D art right now, and I find myself doing a lot of post-work. Eventually you'll get it right straight from the program, but hey- I've thought that you just need to use whatever to make the artwork look good, no matter what programs are used It is the final product that matters, after all...

This is good... the only probelm is that the lighting on his hand is very harsh... it looks unnatural, even for a super hero. But the composition and face are good
