This is Al Capone from HBO's award winning series Boardwalk Empire. As we all fans know, show's coming back this Sunday and I'm just that excited. Last season's ender just threw me off my seat literally, it was just sad seeing some people go and now I just can't wait to see what happens next! So this piece is just a warm up of my list of boardwalk empire characters to draw.This piece is also one of my three submissions for my upcoming art exhibit "More than you imagined" in Brooklyn, New York! The exhibit will take place at the Bottleneck Gallery tomorrow night(Sep 7) at 7pm. "More than you Imagined" is basically an exhibition of works from different artists inspired by premiere cable shows from HBO, Showtime and Cinemax. Alright I don't know if you took my advice or not. But I do see more shading and lighting. I like what I'm seeing. Those Mafioso getting shot in front of the Thompson looks pretty cool and defiantly made this piece stand out more. the realism in the face and hand is really high as well. plus all the blood splatters make it look more gloomy. What I like most though in this piece is the cigar and the smoke. it just looks fantastic. Now for what I ht ink you should improve on is to give your pieces more emotion or a story in a way I'm not sure if I'm using the correct words for it but. if you know what I mean then you should try it. I believe it will make your future pieces even better.

lol bro not saying my work is good. Just saying that it just didn't impact me. While it does look cool it just didn't make me go damn. this is deep. While yes I'm not that good of a artist when I was in middle school either. So remember check dates on work as well. Anyways I guess I just have trouble seeing the shading and lighting in some of your work. Though don't forget. true art has a meaning, and a story behind it. For they can say what words can not.

We pretty much have the same list, I have to catch up on The Wire though. Was Carnivale cancelled? I was only able to finish season 1.

I'm pretty sure it was cancelled. It only lasted 2 seasons, sadly. The end had me confused a bit.

Amazing job. Geez whenever there's a mention of Capone anywhere, it really brings back memories for me. You may think it's weird but as a Chicago native, I spent my early school years (3rd-5th grade) doing numerous reports and presentations on Al Capone and a lot of other "American Gangsters". This is really amazing, great job. I really do need to get into Boardwalk Empire too.
