Honestly there's no message intended in this artwork, this is literally just my perception of a puzzled man. I just thought having those puzzle pieces on his head would be a creative way of displaying it... However, if you guys could give a story behind it, by all means PLEASE do share it in the comments box! That would be my challenge for you!CRITIQUES are always welcome, so please premium members, i'd like to get your honest opinions

I thought it was like a photomanipulation at first glance but when i looked closer into it, it's actually an amazing sketch! Galing!
His expression looks very natural and it's also very well done.
This might be your style but in my opinion, he looks bruised up, you know what i mean?
I love the colors and everything else in this picture. It's very impressive.
Also, it somewhat depicts a man who seems to be really frustrated and has gained memory loss...it's as if he's trying to remember what he once knew.
Forgive my horrible interpretation! Overall, i think it's really impressive and deserves a fav. Keep up the good work.

thanks for the critique kabayan! i like your perception of the artwork! to be honest i wasn't really thinking about anything that you've mentioned while drawing this. all i had in mind was an idea, a man who's supposed to be puzzled and just had the pieces on his head in creative way. I leave it to you guys to put the meaning to my executions

I have a friend who seems to think he is being sort of "haunted" by the number 23. He watched a movie called twenty three and ever since then it seems like the number is out to get him. Sounds kinda crazy really but it's true. He actually wanted me to draw him something surreal that would include the number. This is pretty much the perfect idea for that. Which is why it grabbed my attention...sort of a strange happenstance. Especially because you push others to share their stories....

lol, what a coincidence that is very freaky. for my artworks if you've noticed i go by numbers, i don't know why but i just felt like numbering my work so it's easier for me to pin point a piece just by saying the number and for my viewers too. so what a coincidence lol.

Though, instead than being puzzled, he looks like he's losing his mind (or breaking free of schemes), thus the "puzzle pieces" look only relative to a bigger picture, instead than the focus as the title suggests

yes, i believe most artists draw 1st thing that comes to their minds with no plan at all. then, the artist critiques are the ones who start putting all these kinds of meanings to it lol

art critiques are the best bullshitters, they can create a novel just out of one piece LOL

They are so used to bullshitting, that here in Italy they also become politicians
I believe that an art-critic is interesting when he talks about the techniques used for a piece of art, or about it's generic feeling. But as soon as he steps on the metaphysical, while being totally convinced that what he sees in the picture/sculpture/etc is true, and that his word is law, he is just monkey-throwing shit at the audience

Very creative artwork, man!!! I like very, very, much!! I love THAT colour blue among the grey tones! It's like a mix between peace and an interior war!
