Luan looks so pretty and sweet here that she'll probably get the clown fired when he can't help but smile when he sees her. Along with the fashion her adorable, near-laughing smile is priceless. Nice tone range for an archival effect too. Thanks for sharing the old fun times.

Honestly, I expected her to be a hippie along with the rest of her sisters and Lincoln. I really love to see most of them as hippies with long- shaggy hair, tie-dyed t-shirts, jeans, peace jewelry, and birkenstocks, especially Lori, Leni, and Luna.

Since this is 1961, people were transitioning from the conservative outlook of the 50's into the bright, and optimistic view of the Kennedy Years (hence why Luan looks like Jackie Kennedy). When John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963, the nation's sense of optimism died along with him. What followed next was the War in Vietnam, and, ultimately, the hippie counter culture.
