Description A higher understanding of our impact on the environment, and what we can do to preserve it, has lead us to the point where we wonder, "How many more after us will be able to experience an adventure like this in the near future?"

Many Crowned Cranes congregating around a body of water. There were many juveniles with them as well.
You can also see an Egyptian Goose hanging out with them, as well as a few Royal Ibises.

You know what's interesting? My neighborhood has a couple Egyptian Geese living here! I have no idea where they came from or how wide their range is, but it's so cool seeing them in Africa! Also I looooove the look of Crowned Cranes. Their "mohawk" is just so awesome!

Wow, I didn't even know they could be had as pets!
And yes, this is where they are naturally found in.

The Crowned Cranes hairdo actually is in a rounded, sort of Afro shape. It's more rounded that a Mohawk line which seems even cooler!
