Description

The SA-9 Personal Defence Weapon, made using paint.net

The SA-9PDW (or just SA-9) was a Personal Defence Weapon of Staggrichian origin. The SA-9 is a direct relative of the ST-11 Sub Machine Gun which was made in the year -30. The SA-9 was made by the SSA Team S-A (Stag State Armoury Team South Alpha) of the Stag State Armoury after demands for a competent Personal Defence Weapon. Trials for the ST-9 were slim and it nearly was denied due to its "primitive" design. Despite its controversial design it was adopted in 48 and was dubbed the ST-9PDW (STag 9mm Personal Defence Weapon)

The Medium Sub Machine Gun only had one fire type, fully automatic, this was due to the weapon being a simple blowback design. It fired the same 9x20mm pistol round used in the M20 SP from either a highly experimental 62 round rotary magazine or a 30 round stick magazine. The weapon had a 10.75 inch barrel and was 27 inches long overall. With the stock folded it was only 19 inches long. The sub machine gun was extremely cheap to produce, being only ζ576.20 Stag Robble ($430.00 UD, Stag Robble = 34% of USD)

The Sub Machine Gun was mainly used in extremely close ranges. The rifle fired at 700 rounds per minute. It was most effective from about 150 meters (164 yards). Considering its size, it was very heavy, weighing 9 pounds when unloaded.
