Description
I had an idea for Ropers that would make them fit into the natural world: Some bivalve molluscs cement themselves to rocks and use tentacles to hunt. And I figured the idea of being eaten alive by an 8ft clam was pretty terrifying. So I made my version of a Roper a bivalve. The tentacles are to represent who has been grappled, but can be also be used for other spell effects.

The models are polymer clay. I didn’t feel like spending long painting them, so after spraying them black, everything else is a drybrush. To finish I tried using epoxy resin for the first time, so their are some interesting goo effects.
