Yes, indeed, the feeling I was trying to transmit is that of someone who feels imprisoned, but who realizes there's room for hope! That no matter how dark life is inside of your current life, you can always have dreams and they can be as vibrant as you make them!!!
I'm happy to know that I've achieved that, it makes me so happy that you looked at all those details and enjoyed it!!!

Lets just get the ball rolling shall we? I think the artistic vision here is just incredible, it gives you the perspective of looking out on the world through a window while simultaneously giving you the sense of safety one might expect from behind it.
The originality of the picture is a part of what affects the artistic vision previously mentioned. I have seen plenty of paintings with the perspective of looking out of a window but the use of scenery and color is a part of what helps this one stand out from others.
Next we have the technique. Speaking solely as one artist to another I don't think I could paint anything this good in my lifetime not without a lot of lessons or practice first. I really appreciate the ripple patterns I see across the scenery which helps give it a dreamy perspective.
This actually leaves quite a strong impact with me due to everything previously mentioned above. Normally I would request you to ask yourself if you would be nearly as impressed if it was made by someone else, but I feel confident in saying I find this to be exceptionally impressive work.

It's very encouraging when people like our work ... but in my case, this gives me a sense of accomplishment, because my goal is to "move" people positively ... to leave them with a good feeling when they see my work. Well this is my first critique so bare with me...
This caught my eye at a first glance, the vibrant orangey red contrasts with the blue but not so much that it blinds me because of the changing colours of the trees.
The colours are quite beautiful, from the clear blue of the sky to the bright orange of the buildings. What stood out to me was that the many different shades of blue is quite outstanding really but although it looks somewhat blurry, the attention to detail; is really good, I especially like how the bright buildings have a slight reflection on the wall.
Although slightly off centre and a tad lopsided this piece is still not only well compositioned but also well done in general.
