DaVinci's School for the Gifted Children Chapter 4

I ran into my room and threw myself down on the huge bed in the corner of an even larger room along with another bed next to mine. Burying my head in the pillows I began to think over what's happened since I had gotten here, a tear falling down my cheek but I wiping it away fast. The door slowly opened and someone came in. I looked up to see Dylan's face by mine a concerned expression on her face along with a silly grin, her cat ears perking up slightly and her tail going back and forth. She smiled at me and sat down on my bed.
" If you don't remember anything then I'll tell you your own story. Our story. Just a guess but you probably don't remember the prophecy either." She said still smiling.
" It was a really really really long time ago, well to the humans any way," she started, " When you were born, the only hybrid, even your brother is pure blooded. Your parents the new Queen and King of Anistrailafer your home planet, your brother was 2 when you were born and has been really protective of you ever since then. He has fore sight, and he also spits out a prophecy or two, two of the most unfortunate gifts out there. Well a single year after you were born so you weren't one yet he stated the first prophesy in about a thousand years, Not very long but still, about a girl who was not of pure blood and who could fly threw the skies without help. That was the day you decided to grow wings and a power popped up."
" When you were five I was sent to you from another planet to protect you well be your guardian angel that's a little more correct. We became best friends in days and never left each other's side. Then when you turned eight-teen they sent us away to Earth that was like three hundred thousand years ago just so you know. Your brother wasn't supposed to know you left cause he was on another galaxy when we left."
" Soon we found the Egyptians, and us not knowing what to expect didn't think to make our selves look like humans. When we got there they thought we were Goddesses sent from the other Gods to watch over them and make sure they are doing what they need to be doing. They worshiped us and built monuments of us. You the Goddess half animal half God, and me a winged lioness with the head of a Goddess and that could trans form into a human. We stayed with them for some many years but we soon got bored of their sacrifices and we told them the others were calling us back to them. We moved onto Greece, just as the Egyptians did they worshiped us. They made us into the Greek Gods adding more and changing it up so girls didn't you know rule over them as the supreme ruler."
" After that we traveled you were 22 by then. We went to England, Germany, Italy, and most of Europe. We then headed to Australia and then Asia. Finally ending up in the United States of America. In the end of that all you were 29." She finished and looked at me expectantly.
" So your saying that I am three hundred Thousand years old and your how old?" I asked flabbergasted.
" Seven hundred thousand years old." She said not breaking out laughing but completely serious.
" Ok then so I believe you about everything but how am I so young of I was 29 in the end of that all?" I challenged her to answer that.
" Well our ages are different than Earths years and ages. They go by years we go by three hundred Earth years, about." She said to me smiling.
" Ok so what now you said something about my powers." I said to her quizzically.
" Ahh yes we are going to Mr.DaVinci in five minutes." She said looking at the clock. " Scratch that now." She said grabbing my hand and pulling me out of the room and down the hallway into Mr.DaVinvi's office. " Sorry Mr.DaVinci, story time took longer than I expected." She said to him smiling.
" Its all right I'm in no big rush." He said turning in his chair and I saw in front of him was 20 little objects. I immediately focused on the jar of water, the light bulb, the rock, the candle, the jar full of nothing and the bar of some sort of metal. " Ah so you see the test that I'm going to do on you, it wont hurt, I'm going to set these all in front of you and see what happens. " He said and put them each in front of me all at the same time. As soon as the water jug touched the small desk in front of me the top exploded. The flame grew, the metal started bending itself, and the empty jar began to start a tornado inside it. Some others reacted but not as severe as these ones.
" I see I see." He said pacing up and down then stopping in front of me removing the desk and coming back in front of me. He looked me straight in the eyes and snapped his fingers and as if I was just breaking the surface of water I started coughing and sputtering.
After the visit with Mr.DaVinci he had sent me to class. Walking down the hallway to my new locker was weird without anyone else in the hallway with me besides Dylan but she was quiet not saying a word. I opened my locker and got the stuff I was told I needed for the class. I walked down to room 671 and opened the door looking inside I saw a huge room that was carpeted with grass. About 5 teens around my age were there one had a huge ball of fire floating in his hand. I walked in fallowed by Dylan and saw the teacher in the corner but she was frozen solid. I looked at Dylan worried but you could tell she was restraining a laugh. The guy cut off his fireball and came towards me. " Hi I'm William fire element. This is Sabrina, ice element. That's Phillip lightning element. Over there is Kendra she is light element. Next to her is her twin brother George he is darkness element. And you two are?" He asked trailing off.
" I'm Jasmine, all the elements, and this is Dylan she's my um best friend, sphinx." I said to him after I had said my name though his eyes got larger and him mouth hung open.
" You're the girl in the prophecy! You have wings right?' he said mystified.
" Oh my gosh! Did everyone but me know about this stupid prophecy?" I said loudly, " By the way what's up with the teacher?" I asked him letting my wings unfold and come out of the slits in my shirt.
" Oh she's thawing don't worry about her." He said stifling a giggle. " And yea pretty much everyone knew about the prophecy. So you are the one in it!" He practically yelled at me.
" Hey don't you act to surprised I just found out about it like twenty minutes ago." I said holding my hands up.
" Oh yea sure said the immortal girl who is worshiped in 17 different countries." He said sarcasticly.
" It doesn't help I lost all my memory!" I screamed at him my hair lighting on fire my eyes changing from green and blue to red and gold. They started to back up but I had already gotten my anger under control. " Sorry." I muttered to them.
" Ok now that was more impressive then I thought it would be. Now for the entrance ceremony." He said smiling. Before I could comprehend what he was talking about a fireball came soaring towards my face and I sprang into the air shooting a jet of water towards him and freezing it so it was just under him head. His whole body began to glow red and the ice melted I pulled a huge cage from the ground made out of solid rocks and used wind to put it over his head.
" I'd say I win." I told him smiling leaning against the bars of solid earth.
" I'll take that." He said puling me into the cage. I struggled and finally was able to whack him with one of my wings. He stumbled backwards and I smiled.
" Ok can I win now?" I asked him smiling prepared this time.
" Fine." He said slouching again. I turned prepared for his tackle. He ran straight trying to catch me off guard but I sprang into the air making the cage as big as I needed it to be as I flew up.
" Ok how bout now?" I asked him and he nodded. " Swear to it!" I said and he crossed his heart. I came down to the ground pushing the cage back into the earth. " Well that was fun!" I said smiling and rubbing my hands together. Everyone was staring at me William was grinning beside me and I was looking at Dylan who was laughing under her breath.
" Wow," said Dylan, " You really don't remember anything." She said laughing louder now. " Well Jasmine meet your Boyfriend William." She said as I stared at her shocked. The bell chose that moment to ring signaling the day was over and we could go back to our dorm rooms now. I looked back at Will as we left. Oh my gosh! He was my boy friend! I didn't know! Wow! I really was lost without all these memories.
" Dylan is William immortal?" I asked her crossing my fingers behind my back as we made our way to our bedroom.
" Yes, Jasmine, ye he is." She said as we walked into our room.
