how did you make the fabric 2 toned i looked and looked for 2 toned fabric like that but couldent find it..by the way this is super beautifull your daughter is so cute!

we started with the base white fabric, then very gently dyed it the whole thing yellow, then dipped it halfway into a pink dye, then a quarter a way into the purple. the under dress is a white satin dyed the same yellow as the other stuff.
be warned, this type of fabric takes to dye very VERY quickly. just a little dab will do ya.
remember, you can always dip it again, but you can't undip it.
there are a lot of very good resources for this particular dress on any number of cosplay sites.
check back after halloween this year. my girl is gonna be dazzling.

I wish my childhood halloween costumes were that pretty.
I usually ended up being something weird, like a dog or a pumpkin.
